Under the valuable guidance & direction of the think tank of K.V.S every Kendriya Vidyalaya contributes in its own humble way to the strength, influence and presence of K.V.S in setting new milestones on the National Highway of school education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Tibri Cantt, caters to the education needs of the children of Army and Civil personnel stationed at Tibri Cantt, Gurdaspur and surrounding area. Rich and vast infrastructure of the Vidyalaya includes well designed, spacious, airy & well furnished class rooms, two separate computer labs for the Senior and the Junior students, separate and well furnished laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Maths; vast and well maintained playground for Football, Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Kabaddy, Badminton and Athletics. Highly qualified, talented, hardworking & motivated staff is the main asset of this Vidyalaya. Apart from the guidance and help that we recieve from the K.V.S. we are fortunate to have always received very valuable help and from the station Head Quarters and various Army units attached with the Army Brigades. Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission,

1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
2. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
3. To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc.
4. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among children.
